Configuring reports and alerts
Set when briefs arrive, what they contain, and what you get told about between them.
Reports 01 · Cadence
Report cadence
Reports are configured in Settings, under the Reports tab. Cadence is yours to choose. The options are:
- None (manual only): no scheduled sends. This is the default. You can still send a report on demand.
- Daily
- Every other day
- Weekly, with a day of the week
- Bi-weekly, meaning every two weeks, with a day of the week
- Monthly, with a day of the month
A new account starts on None, so no scheduled reports arrive until a cadence is selected.
Reports 02 · Delivery
Delivery time
Every cadence other than None takes a delivery time, set in hours and minutes. Delivery is scheduled in the timezone Analytir read from your connected platform, so the report arrives at the local time you chose regardless of where the servers run. Settings shows the next scheduled send once a cadence is set.
Reports 03 · Contents
What is included
Each report can include or exclude sections depending on which platforms are connected. The available toggles are sales data, accounts receivable, and combined insights across platforms. Accounts receivable and combined insights require an accounting platform connection.
Reports 04 · Manual
Manual sends
A report can be sent on demand at any time from the Reports view, regardless of the configured cadence. This is the only way to receive a report while cadence is set to None.
Reports 05 · Alerts
Alerts
Alerts are separate from scheduled reports. They fire when Analytir detects a change worth telling you about between briefs. The current alert types are:
- Gross Sales drop detected
- Unusual Gross Sales spike
- No transactions
- Low cash flow
- Pattern change detected
- Average Sale change detected
- Transaction volume change detected
Each alert carries a severity of low, medium, high, or critical. When more than one alert fires at once and at least one is critical, the notification is escalated to urgent.
Reports 06 · Notifications
Notification settings
Separately from report cadence, notification preferences control which emails Analytir sends at all. These cover report summaries, smart alerts, account activity, and billing updates, each of which can be turned off independently.
